The Department of Justice was recognized anew today by the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) in the implementation of the electronic Freedom of Information (e-FOI).
This, after the DOJ received the Top Requested and Performing Agency Award in the e-FOI Portal.
This recognition is given to government agencies with 250 to 499 requests and with at least 90% closed transactions.
Justice Secretary Crispin “Boying” C. Remulla congratulated the men and women behind this prestigious recognition.
“This is truly reflective of the Department’s commitment to transparency and accountability in public service,” the Secretary underscored.
The FOI is implemented by virtue of Executive Order No. 02 series of 2016 operationalizing in the executive branch the right to information and full public disclosure and transparency in the public service.
