Easter Sunday 2018 message of Justice Secretary Vitaliano N. Aguirre II

01 April 2018

“Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here.

See the place where they laid him.” (Mark 16:6)

Greetings of Peace and Goodwill in the Risen Lord!

I join our brothers and sisters in the Catholic faith in the celebration of the resurrection of our Lord and Savior.

In the eternal struggle between good and evil, the triumph of our Lord Jesus Christ over death and sin manifests our Loving Father’s eternal covenant to be with us. It tells us that God will never forsake us amidst all our fears, sorrows and tribulations.

With humility in our spirit and with forgiveness in our hearts, let us embrace Easter Sunday as the perfect chance to be reborn as believers who are truly created in the image and likeness of God. In the blood and suffering of Christ we find our salvation, may we always find our purpose and true meaning in Him and His teachings.

I wish all to have lasting peace in their hearts and in their homes, immeasurable graces and the benevolent forgiveness of all our sins this Easter and beyond.

A BLESSED EASTER TO ALL!
