Driven by a steadfast resolve to deliver Real Justice for All in Real Time, Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Boying Remulla has once again been able to set the bar in raising the standards of public service by simplifying government processes in a bid to reach and help more Filipinos in need.
This, after the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) awarded the DOJ - Office of the Regional Prosecutors of Regions 8 and 11 (ORPs 8 & 11) under the helm of Regional Prosecutors Irwin A. Maraya and Janet Grace B. Dalisay-Fabrero, respectively, for their exemplary performance in providing convenient and efficient public service by fully complying with RA 11032 or the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018 (EODB) Law for the year 2023.
Awarding of top performing agencies was held in Conrad Manila, Pasay City during the culmination of the 3-day Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Convention from 28-30 October 2024.
Specifically, third party service provider People's Dynamics, Inc. (PDI) was engaged by ARTA to implement the law mandated Report Card Survey (RCS) to gauge the level of compliance to the said law by government bodies.
From November 2023 to April 2024, survey Questionnaire (SQ) and Inspection Checklist (IC) tools were utilized by PDI to retrieve public/client satisfaction ratings which conclusively showed the people's approval of the DOJ's unwavering efforts to systemize and streamline government services.
"It is an honor and humbling at the same time to receive this valuable recognition, highlighting our relentless efforts to simplify government processes in our pursuit to attain real justice for all in real time," Secretary Remulla averred.
"My warmest greetings to the hardworking men and women of our DOJ offices in Regions 8 and 11, your efforts inspire us to do this feat in all our offices nationwide. With proper guidance and devotion as civil servants, we believe that this goal is within an arm's reach," the Secretary added.
Compliance to the ARTA requisites which led to this prestigious recognition was made possible under the direct supervision of the DOJ Committee on Anti-Red Tape headed by Undersecretary Margarita N. Gutierrez.###
