DOJ awards winners of Creativity Shoot Contest in celebration of the 2023 National Children’s Month

A total of 37 children who are relatives of Department of Justice (DOJ) officials and employees received prizes and certificates as winners of the Creativity Shoot Contest during this morning’s flag ceremony.

Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin “Boying” Remulla, Undersecretary Raul Vasquez and Assistant Secretary Majken Anika Gran-Ong handed the prizes to the winners.

The activity was undertaken as part of this year’s celebration of the National Children’s Month (NCM).

The contest was open to children, nephews, nieces or grandchildren of DOJ employees, three to 12 years of age. Each participant was allowed to submit one photo entry in accordance with the 31st NCM theme: “Healthy, Nourished, Sheltered: Ensuring the Right to Life for All!”

The First Place in the Best Photo Award category was given PhP10,000; the Second Place, PhP7,000; and the Third Place, PhP5,000. Meanwhile, awardees of the Special Prizes (Gender and Development Special Protection Office Award and Youngest Participant Award) were each given PhP3,000. A consolation prize of Php1,000 were given to the 19 remaining participants. All participants were given Certificates of Participation.
