The Department of Justice (DOJ) announced today the arrest of Elgin Fredric ANDERSON, an American national, during a Search Warrant operation conducted by the National Bureau of Investigation-CARAGA Regional Office (NBI-CARAGA) and DOJ-Office of Cybercrime (DOJ-OOC) last Saturday evening, 16 June 2018, in Buenavista, Agusan del Norte.

During the raid, investigators found several child abuse materials on the computer of ANDERSON which lead to his arrest. Seized were desktop computer, storage devices, mobile phones, sex toys and receipts of money transfers.

“We shall continue our collective efforts to protect Filipino children from all forms of abuse and bring perpetrators to justice,” said Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra.

Authorities are working round the clock to identity the victims and other possible cohorts of the subject.
